faceblurme is a browser-based photo tool. It has two kinds of features that work differently, and it matters which you use:
You keep all rights you already have in the photos and content you bring to the Service ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership of Your Content.
You are responsible for Your Content. You represent that you own it or have all rights and permissions needed to use it — including, where people appear in a photo, any consent required to upload, edit, or transform their image.
For the on-device tools, you grant us no license, because nothing is uploaded. For the AI looks only, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, transmit, and process the image you submit solely to generate your requested result and operate and secure the Service. This license ends when processing is complete, except as needed to comply with law or investigate abuse.
When you use an AI look, your image is sent to our processing servers, transformed, and the result is returned to you. You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, process, or share content that:
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate access for any violation, with or without notice.
Some features — such as saving without the faceblurme watermark — require an account or paid membership. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. [Add billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms if you offer paid plans.]
The Service itself — its software, design, branding, and content we provide (including any preset faces and styles) — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms don't give you rights to our marks or materials beyond using the Service as intended. As between you and us, you own your edited and generated outputs, subject to your compliance with these Terms and any third-party rights.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that metadata removal, blurring, or any output will meet your needs. You are responsible for reviewing any image before you share it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, reputation, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim or [USD $100].
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
